An information
package, CHILDREN IN THE MIDDLE, is available from the The Center
for Divorce Education in Athens, Ohio. It includes a fact
sheet published by the US Department of Health and Human Services,
where it has been named a "Model Program" by the Substance
Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA). CHILDREN
IN THE MIDDLE is an educational and ethnically diverse
program designed to teach parents the skills needed to
reduce:

family conflict

school problems
-
depression and anxiety
-
anger
CHILDREN
IN THE MIDDLE has been endorsed by the National Council of
Juvenile and Family Court Judges. It has also received
the "Positive
Parenting Award" from the National Council
for Children's Rights, and the "Active
Parenting Award" from the Children's
Rights Council.
