Thank you to all FCAAP members who participated in the nominations process for the 2026 election. The Nominations Committee has confirmed a slate of excellent candidates for this year’s election. Learn more about each candidate and the positions they are running for below. All voting members of FCAAP will receive an electronic ballot on June 11 to select the leaders of the 2026-2028 Board of Directors. All new leaders will be inducted at the annual conference, The Future of Pediatric Practice 2026. Learn more and register to attend at futureofpediatrics.org.

The positions open for election and the candidates approved by the FCAAP Nominations Committee for each position are:

President

• The President is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Jennifer Takagishi as the 2026 candidate for President.

Vice President

• The Vice President is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Brandon Chatani as the 2026 candidate for Vice President.

Secretary

• The Secretary is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Rani Gereige as the 2026 candidate for Secretary.

Treasurer

• The Treasurer is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Brittany Bruggeman and Dr. Fatma Levent as the 2026 candidates for Treasurer.

Region 2 Representative (Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Hamilton, Suwanee, Lafayette, Dixie, Columbia, Union, Bradford, Gilchrist, Alachua, Levy, Baker, Nassau, Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, Franklin)

• The Region 2 Representative is elected by the current voting members of FCAAP located in Region 2.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Issa Hanna as the 2026 candidate for the Region 2 Representative.

Region 4 Representative (Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry, Collier)

• The Region 4 Representative is elected by the current voting members of FCAAP located in Region 4.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Shannon Fox-Levine as the 2026 candidate for the Region 4 Representative.

At Large Representative, General Pediatrician

• The General Pediatrician At Large Representative is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee as approved Dr. Jennifer Hipp as the 2026 candidate for the General Pediatrician At Large Representative.
