Friday, October 2: The AAP Community Cares I Love a Clean San Diego event
East Coast, West Coast, which is the best coast? Pick a side, then find Alicia and Ashley on the sand and tell us! No spoilers, but we promise you won’t be able to miss us!
Friday, October 2: The District X Networking Reception & President’s Welcome Reception
From flamenco in Florida and salsa in Puerto Rico, to square dancing in Georgia and line dancing in Alabama, District X knows how to move! Join new and old friends at the District X Networking Reception to translate your looks into a full-blown boogie ready vibe before the President’s Welcome Reception – and to receive a small gift from the Georgia Chapter AAP!
Speaking of vibe…. Is the theme of this year’s President’s Welcome Reception Boogie by the Bay or Shuffle on the Sand? Although music and dance may be universal languages, we haven’t yet found the tune that says, “your child is due for the MMR vaccine today.” Find Alicia and Ashley during the event to see why translation matters… and how you can improve the sweet sweet sound of effective communication in your office.

Monday, October 5: The AAP Friends of Children Fund 5K Fun Run & Walk
With fresh legs from the FPP2026 Fun Run and fueled with motivation by the Fall 2026 FCAAP Wellness Series, FCAAP members will be ready to go for the gold at the AAP Friends of Children Fund 5K Fun Run & Walk! Whether you’re planning an all-out sprint to the finish line, a leisurely chat and stroll with a friend, or just showing up to fish for compliments on your newest pair of running shoes, be sure to find Alicia and Ashley on the course to help make your race feel as light as a bubble (don’t worry – you’ll be able to spot us)!

Saturday, October 3 – Monday, October 5: The Exhibit Hall
FLynn is on the move once again! Throughout the conference, FLynn (well, a 2d version of FLynn) will be roaming the Exhibit Hall.
