FCAAP APPOINTS TREASURER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Tallahassee, Florida –The Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FCAAP) has appointed Rani S. Gereige, MD, MPH, FAAP as Treasurer of its Board of Directors, effective September 18, 2024.
“On behalf of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, I’m pleased to announce that Dr. Rani Gereige has accepted the nomination to serve as Treasurer. I thank him for agreeing to serve and look forward to working with him in his new role,” said FCAAP President Rana Alissa, MD, FAAP.
“I am looking forward to continuing to serve the Florida Chapter of the AAP and am excited to work on behalf of my pediatrician colleagues and Florida’s children & youth,” said Dr. Gereige.
Dr. Gereige also serves as Co-Chair of FCAAP’s Continuing Education Committee and sits on the Editorial Board of the Chapter’s peer-reviewed journal The Florida Pediatrician. He will serve as Treasurer for the remainder of the 2024-2026 term.
