Thank you to all FCAAP members who participated in the nominations process for the 2022 election. The Nominations Committee has confirmed a slate of excellent candidates for this year’s election. Learn more about each candidate and the positions they are running for below. All voting members of FCAAP will receive an electronic ballot on July 15 and are encouraged to participate in this year’s election to select the leaders of the 2022-2024 term. The positions open for election and the candidates approved by the FCAAP Nominations Committee for each position are:

President

• The President is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Thresia Gambon as the 2022 candidate for President.

Vice President

• The Vice President is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Juan Felipe Rico as the 2022 candidate for Vice President.

Secretary

• The Secretary is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Rana Alissa as the 2022 candidate for Secretary.

Treasurer

• The Treasurer is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Brandon Chatani and Dr. Mark Hudak as the 2022 candidates for Treasurer.

Region 2 Representative (Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Hamilton, Suwanee, Lafayette, Dixie, Columbia, Union, Bradford, Gilchrist, Alachua, Levy, Baker, Nassau, Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, Franklin)

• The Region 2 Representative is elected by the current voting members of FCAAP located in Region 2.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Sanjeev Tuli as the 2022 candidate for the Region 2 Representative.

Region 4 Representative (Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry, Collier)

• The Region 4 Representative is elected by the current voting members of FCAAP located in Region 4.
• The Nominations Committee has approved Dr. Debora Duro as the 2022 candidate for the Region 4 Representative.

At Large Representative, General Pediatrician

• The General Pediatrician At Large Representative is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee as approved Dr. Betty Cheney as the 2022 candidate for the General Pediatrician At Large Representative.

Delegate, Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs

• The Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs Delegate is elected by all current voting members of FCAAP.
• The Nominations Committee as approved Dr. Patricia Emmanuel as the 2022 candidate for the Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs Delegate.
