Enhancing Adolescent Health & Immunization (EAHIS) is a project and webinar series presented by the AAP Chapter Quality Network. The first of the three free webinars dedicated to adolescent healthcare and immunization services will be held February 23 at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. The webinars will include teen speakers providing perspective on their experiences and recommendations for healthcare professionals.

The first webinar is entitled “Strategies to Improve Provider Communications with Adolescent Patients: Relationships & Rights.” Topics include: concerns, preferences, and realities of young people in health care settings; teen diversity and the challenges and opportunities it poses for doctors and patients; methods for providing youth-friendly health care services; and tips for building positive relationships and communicating effectively with teens.
